In 2011, I shot a photo essay about thousands of Jehovah's Witnesses who clean our football stadium every year ahead of their annual convention.
The folks at Voice of San Diego were kind enough to let me put some finishing touches on the original piece.
They sent me out a couple of weeks ago to produce diptychs of the cleaning in 2011 and this year's convention.
It was fascinating wandering the stadium, packed with colorful umbrellas, and listening in to a bit of the service.
Having not grown up in the most religious family in the world, I'm always eager to see the efforts and traditions behind faith and worship.
Here are some of my favorites from the day. And to see the project presented in totality with the diptychs, head over to Voice of San Diego.
